I'm not flying MAS no more! My fears are not unfounded.
You know, Malaysia Airlines pilots could either be perverts, sex maniacs or druggies.
Part of this accusation is proven true -- one of their pilots was convicted in an Australian Court for having three video clips of child pornography in his laptop.
Can you beat that, folks?
No excuse, I tell you. No excuse. And no mercy for this pervert.
Been reading the websites and blogs, and I do agree that the Malaysian authorities should follow-up this pilot's case. If the police are still investigating little Sharlinie's disappearance, then, it is a no-brainer that they should check out his story.
By the way, the pervert's name is Ahmad Said. He's 25, married and has two children.
There should be a restraining order to keep him away from his kids.
Also stories of pilots piloting aircrafts while high on drugs, abound. That's enough to make me quit flying MAS.
But why aren't the management and the head honcho doing anything?
They do not care or they do not care?
Like --let MAS take a swift decline, huh?
What? Is this some sinister conspiracy to kill MAS?
These are not the work of unseen hands. Whose hands they belong to are obvious.
So, why isn't anyone saving MAS?

I can understand Datuk Idris Jala's predicament. Most of those involved are the son's of prominent people. Though he would like to have his ways, invisible restraining hands are holding him back.

Sometimes some people want to the the right thing but they are restrained from doing it by people higher up (or very influential outsiders) who are there to serve their own needs.

First of all, MAS did take action. If you do not know please do not say anything stupid to defame people.
Secondly, there are 2 SIA pilots who are caught. One is a Singaporean, the other a Malaysian.
And thirdly, please do not classify all pilots as being perverts.
What do you know about flying a plane? You think it is just pressing buttons and stuff and sit around while cruising? Than you are so shallow. I believe pilots agree with me here. Pilots are trained professionals and they too have pressure. And pilots are also humans.
I believe there are lot more passengers/the general public out there who has "explicit material".
And if you hate pilots so much. Don't ever fly again!

yes i realized how long ago it was published..but you said the authorities never followed up in the first place.well they did and it seems you did not put an update here.you know that if random ppl were to stumble upon this, what would ppl think.yes it is a post long time ago, but you as a blogger, i believe you must have some sort of etiquette to deliver information as accurate as possible when it comes to this kind of news which does not involve you personally.
and put a restraining order on him from his kids? he just owns porn man. it does not mean he will harm his children. imagine if you are that pilot. and seriously, you can go to the airport and scan passengers' laptop randomly and i can bet you, you will catch lots of people with porn in their laptop almost everyday.

Classifying all other pilots in MAS as being the same. How would you feel then? There are truth to your report. But these are just a few rotten apples.

wow there is discrimination towards pilots here? im a pilot myself and i have never done this or been in this situation myself. does that make me bad? does that make me a porn addict? a pervert?. if u catch one, does tht mean all of them r bad?. this is just my opinion eva.. n i have been working with MAS for over 13 years.. n i can tell u tht those stories u hear r not true except for the pervert. no drug addicts in here.
if one were an addict, he/she would have been caught in his/her class 1 medical certificate checkup and would be relieved from duty immediately. And bout the authorities, its true they didnt do anything abt it at first but its done now.. i agree with ANONYMOUS(june 13 8.01PM). dear eva, i hope u understand alot about our feelings as pilots and how we felt insulted bout what u said.. we r just random people tht is trying to give opinions about ur thoughts on this issue. but then again, i understand tht this is YOUR blog and u have the right to say anything u want. i was realy shocked to obtain ur blog's link in one of the most famous forums for pilot,engineers and other occupations in the airline industry.
and truthfully i must say that mostly ALL of them read this article on ur blog.
and a well respected man from the indrustry responded to this article.
'1st thing dont believe all u read on malaysia's paper. 2nd the malaysia's paper took the news from the the Australian news. so Secondly, dont believe the australian news either.. What u read is not entirely true.
eg. their paper said "underage porn" ours said "child porn" some say "explicit material". And not many people know why the news become big and i think u should hear from the guy himself. Maybe someone should ask him for the real story.

even for me,i am a cadet pilot in which my dreams are to earn my wings and furthermore work with one of the most sophisticated airline in the world.ure damn right its MAS.
ure talking about pilots and we cadets pilots are reading ur article makes us wonder what type of person you are.those accusations are demoralizing some of us and getting in the way of our dreams.

For example:
4 Months ago Mas Wings pilot Captain Harry from Miri Sarawak crashed his twin otter plane into the airport runway and into a building with 10 passengers on board. He uses methamphetimine by injection daily and had not slept for several days before the flight, added bonus - he took extacy the night before the crash. MAS WINGS got 10 Million for the 50 year old twin otter from the insurance company and our friend Captain Harry was never drug tested - he is now flying again after his 50 day grounding - and yes he is still an addict.
How much do you respect Capt. Harry and do you still want to fly MAS Wings - I call it METH WINGS cause their pilots fly alot higher.
It seems that you know captain Harry pretty well. Whether this story is true or not it is not relevant for me but remember that he, like most of us has a mother and it is not pleasant for her to read this about her son. In my opinion you make the people of Ba'kelalan also very upset. As you probably know, this is their only transport to come out of the jungle. If you are convinced of the whole story why don´t you go and talk with the CEO Mohd Salleh Ahmad Tabrani of Maswings.
