Defending Khairy And Bashing Dr Mahathir

This is so very odd.

My cousin voted for the Opposition in last year's general election because she was so fed up with Barisan Nasional.

The face of Khairy Jamaluddin, she said, was one reason she rejected BN because Khairy represented the abuse, the corruption and all that went wrong for the BN under his father-in-law.

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was literally PM-in-absentia.

The Opposition at that time was not Pakatan Rakyat but individual parties. She voted for the DAP and PKR.

She was naturally aghast that Pakatan Rakyat had conducted itslef pretty miserably and betrayed people like her.

For instance, when Pak Lah was stepping down, several Pakatan leaders said, no no, he shouldn't.

"What the F****?" she screamed in her text to me!

Yeah. I'm wondering what's goin' on back home?

What's the deal?

You'd send Malaysia to destruction just so you can take over the country?

No go, man.

Recently, of course, with the new government under Datuk Seri Najib Razak, we hear Pakatan voices defending Khairy and whacking Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

So, ok. We understand your issues with the Tun. But why whack him in defence of Khairy?

WHY?

"I voted for the opposition because I rejected the likes of Khairy and now you are supporting Khairy? What game are you playing-lah?"

Hey. I'd like to know too!

What is your struggle, Pakatan? Stay focus, man. Or you will expose your own lack of direction and a very muddled struggle.

Rather confusing, ain't it Peaches.

Ahhhh.. politics!!! Can't live with or without em .. once yer hooked. Just like errmm .. never mind. Let's not go there.

Been wondering when PR's gonna set up that damn shadow government of theirs. At least, ordinary folks can get a handle on the alternatives but I guess their extended honeymoon ain't done yet.

They can't carry on with just winning more by-elections alone. Waiting for politicians to drop dead tends to put a macabre twist to attaining good governance, don't you think. Or froggies with I-wanna-Camry-or-a-chinadoll tendencies.

And hey, whaddaya know .. even up-skirt pics get thrown into the equation by ex-bf-fm-hell types.

Sooo.. Murphy's making new laws on have-we-screwed-up-with-this-yet and perhaps, he'd get 'kitchen sink thrown in parliament by disgruntled MP, national emergency declared' soon enough.

Hmmm.. Tioman beckons and I need a break. Somehow, wrestling with tigersharks seems like a fun thingy. Here kitty, kitty. Come to daddy.

Ciao, Peaches

hahaha ... yes, I second what Kerp said. Get a room already! :P

Hi Eva, it's been a while, hasn't it? Anyway, I have no comments about this post because I swore to stay off politics for awhile (of any country). I have no idea what is going on back home (maybe just a sprinkle of it) and I am trying not to get irritated with what's happening over in my adopted country. So, best thing is to enjoy other things in life.

Politics is like porn ... both get you screwed.
